Allure magazine uses Tags in their annual free give-away issues. Last year they achieved over 440,000 scans. This year they broke that record and achieved over 550,000 scans in a six week period! Using mobile codes has increased participation in the contest and gave them the additional benefit of increasing subscribers and opt-ins to their newsletters.

About Marianna

Marianna was born, and grew up, in Finland. However, since moving to USA she has worked in education field for over 30 years. She has worked from elementary level to higher education in various positions. Marianna’s passion has been to make any level of education available to everyone who wants to continue their studies in some way. Marianna has been speaking to various groups (big and small alike) locally as well as nationally on many topics. Marianna’s education degrees include degrees in Social Work (MSW), Youth Work (BS) and teaching licensure in Colorado.

about Accelerated Schools

Since 1964, Accelerated Schools has been welcoming families and students of all backgrounds to their college preparatory, independent, private, non-profit school. They currently teach students in grade K through 12th grade. For almost 50 years the faculty and staff have worked with several 100,000 children, teenagers and adults in providing supplemental reading and study skills classes both on full-time and part-time basis. The school has also conducted classes for college preparatory and college level students. The program was expanded to include instruction for remedial and gifted & talented students.
