ABWA SUCCESS Chapter – TAG, You’re It – Networking, Not just a 2D Square

Presented by Robin Neal, Neal Resources and Jami Arthur, Track the Tag

Robin Neal, Owner and Web Designer with Neal Resources, is passionate about helping businesses get a web presence and helping business owners (and organizations) understand the in’s and out’s of their responsibilities as website owners. Her website and Facebook page give tips and tricks to educate and prepare clients and others to save time, money and avoid pitfalls.

Jami Arthur, owner of Track The Tag, is a dynamo on helping small to large businesses add mobile engagement to their marketing mix. By adding 2d barcodes to print we create marketing campaigns that provide measurable results and tap into the immediacy that smart phones offer. Why stop at the first impression? Let your print begin the conversation and let your mobile code continue it and drive an action. Learn why this new technology is a “must have” on any print campaign.

Would you like to sponsor this event?

$35 Sponsors will receive a Virtual Business Card Tag as our gift. This is a $55 value. You will have a pdf of your very own Tag that you can place on your business cards or other printed materials. It holds all your contact information and when scanned with a smart phone it will automatically load your contact information into the scanning smart phone. The Tag will remain active for two years!

*Potential Sponsors – please send an email to robin@nealresources.com with your inquiry. Must have your info and payment prior to Oct. 15th.

DOWNLOAD THE APP BEFORE THE MEETING

From your smartphone, go to http://gettag.mobi
You may also search “Tag Reader” on your smartphone, you are looking for Microsoft Tag Reader.

Additional Info

Allure magazine uses Tags in their annual free give-away issues. Last year they achieved over 440,000 scans. This year they broke that record and achieved over 550,000 scans in a six week period! Using mobile codes has increased participation in the contest and gave them the additional benefit of increasing subscribers and opt-ins to their newsletters.

You can find mobile codes in almost every mainstream publication. Companies are using mobile codes in their retail locations. Lowe’s and Home Depo use codes in their stores, on their mailed pieces and on their TV commercials. If you are planning a print piece soon (business cards, postcards, brochures, or training projects), you need to see what mobile codes can do.
