The mission of the association is central to our group. You can join anytime of year, be employed or in transition or retired. It is our goal to grow and offer opportunities that the members can help generate or utilize through ABWA.

Local benefits of Basic ABWA membership include:

  • The opportunity to gain leadership skills while working on committees, managing projects, and speaking at chapter functions.
  • The opportunity to run for a leadership position within your chapter and/or the national organization.
  • The chance for your chapter to receive recognition on a national scale by achieving ABWA’s standards for Best Practices.

ABWA chapters are made up of basic members and they typically meet in the evenings (although they can meet at any time). These leagues provide networking, professional development speakers, and business meetings where committee chairs and officers manage the operations of the chapter. These gatherings allow you to connect, learn and grow, and showcase the business acumen you can leverage for achieving your career goals.
